Pleiger's hydraulic continuous position sensing is based on a standardized digital flow meter combined with the CCM (Continuous Control Module) control module. This position sensing enables highly repeatable volume measurement and sets new standards in position sensing for hydraulic drives. Measurement takes place directly in the control line, eliminating the need for complex hydraulic switching of the oil flow into the return line. The CCM control module uses a highly complex algorithm to measure the actual volumetric flow precisely. The integrated self-learning mode allows the use of any leak-free hydraulic drive through a calibration run, making the control suitable for virtually all drive sizes.
