EHS-DC: Electro-hydraulic linear drive in a plug & play format
The EHS-DC is an electro-hydraulic linear drive that combines the advantages of electrical and hydraulic drive technology. Thanks to the combination of a hydraulic cylinder and an attached PMT unit (pump-motor-tank), time-consuming installation work and separate commissioning are eliminated. The compact design with high power density already contains all hydraulic components, reducing piping and connections to a minimum.
Direct connection, maximum safety
The maintenance-free drive unit is connected directly to the valve and operated with no complex installation or flushing processes required. For safety-critical applications, spring-loaded single-acting hydraulic cylinders as well as bladder or piston accumulators are available to move the drive into the safe position within the shortest possible time.
Ready for Industry 4.0
Various modules from our PCM series are available for connection to the customer's control system. They enable different operating modes as well as the transmission of signals—discretely or redundantly via ModBus—to the higher-level control system. Electrical connection is available via discrete signals or a bus connection, making the EHS-DC ideal for Industry 4.0 and IoT applications.
Upon request, we can also retrofit existing hydraulic cylinders with a PMT unit.
